WHAT IS NAADI PARIKSHAN?
Naadi Parikshan — literally "examination of the pulse" — is one of the most profound diagnostic tools in the Ayurvedic system of medicine. Practised for thousands of years by expert Vaidyas, it involves reading the pulse at three specific points on the wrist to detect the functional state of Vata, Pitta and Kapha — the three doshas that govern every biological function in the human body.

THE THREE NADI (PULSES)
First
Vata Nadi
Blue Felt at the index finger. Resembles the movement of a serpent. Governs all movement in the body — breathing, circulation, nerve impulses, elimination. When imbalanced: anxiety, dryness, irregular digestion, joint pain.
Second
Pitta Nadi
Yellow / Orange Felt at the middle finger. Resembles the movement of a frog. Governs all transformation — digestion, metabolism, hormones, intelligence. When imbalanced: inflammation, acidity, skin issues, hormonal disruption.
Third
Kapha Nadi
Red Felt at the ring finger. Resembles the movement of a swan. Governs all structure and fluid — immunity, strength, stamina, emotional steadiness. When imbalanced: weight gain, congestion, sluggishness, attachment.
